Exhibit Hall Features

Immerse yourself in a showcase of posters displaying the latest research and advancements. Come meet the authors of the displayed abstracts. Check the schedule to find out when authors are presenting. Learning from poster presentations may qualify as Section 2 Self-Learning activities; you may claim 0.5 credits per poster viewed with a documented learning outcome.

The CCS IDEA Lounge, made possible by AMGEN

When: Thursday, October 24 to Saturday, October 26 
The CCS IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) lounge, made possible by AMGEN, is a space where you can engage with IDEA leaders and champions through moderated discussions and conversations. After participating in these discussions, delegates will be able to:  

• Recognize and apply solutions that will reduce health disparities and barriers to care.  
• Recognize and apply culturally sensitive care that is personalized to various vulnerable populations.  

For the duration of Congress, you’ll have the opportunity to pledge to integrate IDEA into your personal and professional lives and have an impact on care delivery and patient outcomes across the country.   
 

HubTalk Sessions

Hub Talk Sessions take place in Theatres 2 as follows. Hub Talk Sessions are sponsored learning activities and are not part of the CCC 2024  accredited program developed by the Scientific Planning Committee and do not qualify for Maintenance of Certification Section 1 credits.

Career Fair

New for 2024, the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress will include a career fair to connect those who are hiring with delegates who are job seeking. Taking place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, October 24, the Career Fair offers exceptional networking opportunities, along with refreshments.

Evening Networking Events

Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25
Unwind and network with colleagues while enjoying a selection of wine and hors-d'oeuvres. Both evening receptions take place from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM PT and are open to all attendees. Thursday’s event will focus on engaging with emerging vascular health professionals, while Friday’s reception highlights women in cardiovascular sciences, offering opportunities for mentorship and connections across various specialties.

CCC 2024 Lunches

Lunch will be served from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the Exhibit Hall. Take advantage of several networking opportunities, including the IDEA Lounge, CCC 2024 Poster Gallery, and Hub Talks

CardioQuest

Thursday, October 24 to Saturday, October 26
Attendees can explore the exhibit hall and participate in CardioQuest by scanning QR codes at various exhibitor booths. Each QR code unlocks a question, and by answering these questions correctly, participants can collect points. The more points they gather, the better their chances of winning one of the highly sought-after prizes!

Heart Art

The White Coat Warm heART Exhibit at CCC 2024 is a captivating art exhibit that celebrates the creativity and talent within the medical field. Featured artwork includes a wide variety of mediums - oils, watercolor, photographs, pastels, etching, pen and ink, video, sculpture, poetry and more. The featured artists are also physicians, residents, fellows, medical students, and faculty, who bring their artistic vision and personal experiences to life.
