CCC Clinical Case Submission Guidelines
A clinical case abstract is a brief summary of a patient's medical case, structured to convey key details such as patient demographics, clinical presentation, diagnostic methods, treatment, and outcomes. It serves as a concise way to share clinical experiences, contribute to medical literature, and enhance medical education. Clinical case submissions should be comprised of 1000 words total, outlining the case background and management challenges.
Accepted clinical case submissions may be presented at CCC 2025 as oral presentations or poster presentations (dependant on the number of submissions received).
Oral presentation opportunities may include being asked to present your clinical case as part of a workshop session on a similar topic, or as part of a “Stump the Experts” clinical case session.
Clinical case submissions not selected for oral presentation will be given the opportunity to present a poster presentation.
Accepted cases will be presented at dedicated sessions during the CCC. They will not be published in a special October supplement of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology.
