Loryn Bohne is a second-year medical student at the University of Calgary with a passion for cardiac electrophysiology. Before medical school, she completed her PhD investigating mechanisms of atrial fibrillation in diabetes mellitus. Currently, she is exploring the impact of frailty on post-operative atrial fibrillation. Her career aspirations include practicing as a cardiologist and leveraging her research experience to bridge interdisciplinary gaps and improve patient outcomes.
