Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre
Dr. Yusheng Zhou is a Postdoc fellow, at the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre (RIMUHC). His research focuses on the interplay between built environmental and social determinants of cardiovascular health, exploring how these factors contribute to the risk and outcomes of cardiovascular diseases such as atrial fibrillation, stroke, and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). Utilizing advanced statistical modeling, machine learning and large-scale health datasets, his work particularly emphasizes the sex and gender perspective, investigating how these associations may differ between males and females across various dimensions. The findings from his research aim to inform targeted public health interventions and policies that address these disparities.
