I am Dakshina Murthy - graduated from Mysore Medical College, University of Mysore, Karnataka State, India in 1984. Completed Internal Medicine Residency @ Mysore Medical College, University of Mysore, Karnataka State India in 1990. Worked in the United Kingdom Internal Medicine and Medicine for the Elderly before undertaking formal Residency and Cardiology Fellowship @ University of Connecticut, Farmington, CT, USA in 1999. Subsequently have worked as consultant and non-invasive Cardiologist in Indiana, USA, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and University of West Virginia School of Medicine, West Virginia, USA. Currently working at Windsor Heart Institue, Windsor, ON, Canada. My special interests are Preventive Cardiology, Heart failure, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
