Senior Health Economist
Institute of Health Economics, Canada
My research interests lie at the confluence of health and economic perspectives of decision making against a backdrop of limited healthcare resources. My long-term objective is to become an established expert in health economics and outcomes research, with a primary focus on contemporary health issues such as burden of disease and process of care.
I have a solid background and extensive experience in healthcare project management, consultation, monitoring, and evaluation at national and international levels in both public and private domains. I have been building health economics and outcomes research skills based on my public health experience, pharmaceutical background, and PhD training in health services and policy research at University of Alberta, Canada. I am currently a senior health economist and real-world evidence portfolio lead at the Institute of Health Economics in Alberta, Canada.
