Dr. Kamal Matli earned his MD from the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine in 2016. He then pursued his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at LAUMCRH. In 2021, he moved to Strasbourg, France, where he completed his senior year in Cardiology and obtained a Diploma in Cardiology (DFMS) from the University of Strasbourg. Additionally, he earned a two-year diploma in advanced Echocardiography from the same university. Following this, he moved to Paris for an eight-month fellowship in interventional cardiology at Institut Mutualiste Montsouris. Currently, Dr. Matli is pursuing a two-year fellowship in Interventional and Structural Cardiology, accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal. He has also published more than 12 peer-reviewed articles.
