Anne Simard is the Director of Research for the Outcomes Program at University Health Network. She also directs TRANSFORM HF, an institutional strategic initiative between the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research and the University of Toronto. She leads research and program initiatives dedicated to digital health innovation and engagement of people with lived experience of heart failure. In the past decade, Anne served as Chief, Mission and Research at the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and Chief, Knowledge Services at Public Health Ontario. Trained in journalism and public health at Carleton University (B Jour) and University of Toronto (MHSc), Anne is focused on intersectoral approaches to improving health that are wholistic, engage people with lived experience and communities, use data and technology in new and creative ways, and advance health equity.
