Dr. Escudero is a pediatric cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Stollery Children's Hospital, and is an assistant professor at the University of Alberta. She received her Bachelor of Science from Queen's University and her MD from McMaster University. She completed her pediatrics residency at Memorial University, pediatric cardiology training at the University of British Columbia, and her clinical electrophysiology training at the Stollery Children's Hospital, the Hospital for Sick Children, and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Escudero has an interest in research and obtained her Masters in Clinical Epidemiology during her clinical training, being involved in single center and multicenter studies pertaining to electrophysiologic disorders in pediatric patients. Dr Escudero has a strong interest in medical education and participates in the education of pediatric residents and cardiology subspecialty trainees. She is the Assistant Program Director for Pediatric Cardiology and the Program Director for the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Program at the University of Alberta. She is also the Chair for the national Pediatric Cardiology Trainee Review Program.
