PhD Candidate
McGill University, Canada
I am honored to attend CCC2024 as a recipient of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society's 2024 Have a Heart Bursary Program. I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Courtois CMR Research Group at the RI-MUHC in Montreal, with a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Experimental Medicine from McGill University. My research focuses on the impact of risk factors on the heart using needle-free oxygenation-sensitive cardiac MRI, aiming to advance early cardiovascular disease prevention through non-invasive imaging. I aspire to promote women's heart health, advocate for community awareness, and improve access to cardiac MRI for marginalized communities in Canada. I look forward to connecting with fellow students and mentors at CCC2024.
