Dr Isabelle Nault is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Quebec Heart and Lung Institute (IUCPQ) since 2009. She complete her Medical degree at Laval University in Quebec Canada in 2001. She then did her Cardiology training at IUCPQ / Laval University, followed by a two years fellowship in electrophysiology at the Université Bordeaux 2 / Hospital Haut Leveque in Bordeaux-Pessac, France.
She is particularly involved with complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmia ablations. Her publications focus mainly on ventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. She also has interest in radiation protection and radiation reduction during electrophysiology procedures, and in how physicians and the health care system can contribute to climate changes and climate care. She is involved in clinical research, and participates to numerous multicenter studies in the area of electrophysiology. She presented to many international and national conferences, including the Heart Rhythm Society, Cardiostim, the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society, the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress and the Quebec Cardiology Association.
Dr Nault is also involved at the Canadian Cardiovascular Society council and is chief of cardiology at IUCPQ.
