Dr. Mehrdad Golian completed his medical degree, along with his internal medicine and cardiology residencies, at the University of Manitoba. He then pursued fellowship training in electrophysiology at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, where he was highly regarded for his clinical expertise and EP skills, as well as his compassionate interactions with patients and staff. Dr. Golian also earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety from Queen's University. He currently serves as the Quality Officer at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the Acting Director of the Adult Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program, and the Director of the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic. His clinical interests include complex device management and extraction, as well as arrhythmia management.
