Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed is an interventional cardiologist and clinician educator at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) and an assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from McMaster University. He completed residencies in internal medicine and cardiology at McMaster University, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology. Thereafter, he completed a second interventional cardiology fellowship at the UOHI with focused training in intravascular imaging, coronary physiology, and chronic total occlusion percutaneous coronary intervention.
