Khalil Khalil is a PGY-1 resident in cardiac surgery at the University of Montreal. He pursued a master's degree in biomedical sciences with a focus on cardiovascular sciences at the University of Montréal at the laboratory of Dr. Noiseux at the Centre de Recherche du Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM). He is one of the recipients of the 2020 Have a Heart Bursary Award. Khalil attended the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut, Lebanon where he received his B.S. in Biology and the Riyad Nassar Leadership Award in 2015 and his M.D. in General Medicine along with the School of Medicine Leadership Award in 2019. He has been involved with the CCC Trainee Program Planning Committee since 2021 and serves actually as the Co-Lead of the Research Track and member of the Surgery Track.
