Pediatric Cardiology Subspecialty Resident

Dr Moore was born and raised in Eastern Canada in the city of Quebec. He completed his medical education as well as his pediatric residency at Laval university in his hometown. He moved to Western Canada to pursue subspecialty training in Pediatric Cardiology at the Stollery Children's hospital in Edmonton. He will be graduating in June 2025 to subsequently start his fellowship in Heart Function & Transplantation still with the Univeristy of Alberta.
His interests include cardiomyopathies, exercise physiology and exercise testing. His research area has bridged his interests with the world of hypertrophic cardiomyiopathy in the face of exercise. Outside of the cardiology world, he has been involved in education retreats for Family Medicine residents teaching the basis of wilderness medicine, leadership and medicine in ressource limited environnement.
On a more personal basis, Charles-Olivier is an intense outdoor enthusiast and has touched almost every sport practiced in mountainous environnement. He is also an avid runner with a few ultramarathons under his belt.
