Madhu Natarajan is an interventional cardiologist on staff at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) and Niagara Health, member of Population Health Research Institute and Centre for Evidence Based Medicine at HHS and appointed Professor, Department of Medicine at McMaster University. A graduate of University Toronto Medical School, he completed his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology in Toronto prior to joining the Faculty at HHS-McMaster. His clinical focus has included leading the regional STEMI program and building capacity in Transcatheter interventions related to transcatheter aortic and mitral valve interventions, left atrial appendage closure and patent foramen ovale. He served on the Royal College Examiners Board for Adult Cardiology from 2010-2020. Having a passion for access and quality of care related to transcatheter coronary and structural interventions, Dr Natarajan has held several leadership roles at CorHealth, Ontario including currently serving as Section Chair for the PCI/STEMI task force at the Ontario Health Cardiac Services Table.
