Abrar Aljohani is a first-year Pediatric Cardiology Fellow at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Originally from Saudi Arabia, she moved to Canada in June 2024 to pursue advanced training in pediatric cardiology. Abrar completed her undergraduate degree at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, followed by her pediatric residency at the National Guard Hospital in Jeddah.
Abrar has a strong interest in research within pediatric cardiology, particularly in electrophysiology. She is a member of the Harvard Global Clinical Research Scholars Program, where her Capstone Project proposal was recognized with distinction, ranking in the top 10 among 100 participants. Outside of her professional life, Abrar is a skilled artist who enjoys creating detailed sketches, blending her scientific focus with creative expression.
