Dr. Nadia Giannetti received her MD from McGill University. She became an Attending Cardiologist at the McGill University Health Centre after completing a fellowship in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation at Stanford University in California.
Dr. Giannetti is the Medical Director of the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program at the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Quebec. She is a Clinical Researcher with interests in personalized therapy for cardiomyopathy and optimizing outcomes in heart failure patients. For the past 10 years, she has been an active member of the Canadian Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Guidelines. She has led multiple multi-centre clinical trials as local and national principal investigator. Dr. Giannetti is a full-time Academic Cardiologist at the McGill University Health Centre participating in the care of over 1000 patients with heart failure. She is also an Associate Professor at McGill University’s Department of Medicine. Since 2010 she has been the Chief of Cardiology at the McGill University Health Centre.
