Julia Cadrin-Tourigny joined the faculty at the Montreal Heart Institute/Université de Montréal in 2018 where she specializes in electrophysiology and cardiovascular genetics. She is a Fond de Recherche du Québec-Santé (FRQS) research scholar and her research mostly focuses on inherited arrhythmic disorders. She has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed papers. Among her recent work, she led the effort behind the arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy risk calculators (ARVCrisk.com), its external validation (European Heart Journal, 2022) use of programmed ventricular stimulation to improve event prediction (Circulation 2022) and ICD use (European Heart Journal 2024)
