Dr. Bénédicte Lefebvre is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and fellowship director of the Thalheimer Center for Cardio-Oncology. Dr. Lefebvre earned her medical degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada where she also completed her training in internal medicine and general adult cardiology. She then completed a two-year fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at the University of Pennsylvania specializing in echocardiography, structural echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance. Afterwards, she underwent a cardio-oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lefebvre’s research focuses on the cardiovascular effects of CAR T cells and the use of cardiac imaging and biomarkers to detect cardiotoxicity.
