Electrophysiology Fellow

Jason Gencher is a 1st-year Electrophysiology fellow at the Montreal Heart Institute. He completed medical school at the University of Toronto, followed by internal medicine at Western University, and Cardiology at the University of British Columbia. He is pursuing a masters in health professions education through Maastricht University (MHPE-Canada, though Western University). Prior to his medical education, he completed a bachelor in jazz performance on the trumpet at McGill University. Beyond music and medicine, Jason is an avid hockey fan, owner of a french bulldog named Maisie, loves to bake and cook, and read 20th century English fiction. Jason serves on the CCS Advocacy Committee as well as the Climate Action committee as the trainee representative.
