Dr. Ong is a clinical assistant professor at University of British Columbia, director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Clinic and associate director of the Echocardiography Lab at St. Paul's Hospital. He works concurrently in the cardiac intensive care unit. Dr. Ong is a graduate of the University of Toronto medical school, and UBC Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship programs. He completed advanced fellowships in echocardiography and cardiology (hypertrphic cardiomyopathy) at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota).
