Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
Evaluate the rationale for undertaking cardiopulmonary bypass in premature infants;
Summarize neurodevelopmental concerns regarding cardiopulmonary bypass in premature infants; and
Review the pros and cons of performing an ECG in the pediatric patient presenting with syncope.
